What you can expect from our crews
Client and site rules take precedence over our own where they are stricter. We expect our crews to arrive able to comply.
- Crews in the correct PPE for the task, not only on arrival
- Excavations barricaded and signed, and made safe at the end of each day
- Plant and equipment checked before use
- A responsible person on site for the duration of the work
- Site induction and permit requirements complied with
- Materials stored tidily and waste removed
- The working area reinstated and cleared on completion
Water work carries environmental risk
Sewer work in particular can affect watercourses, groundwater and the surrounding community if it is handled carelessly. We plan work so that spillage is contained, excavated material is managed, waste is disposed of appropriately and the area is reinstated.
Where a client or site has its own environmental controls, method statements or waste procedures, we work to those.
